Yummy banana bread - can add chopped walnuts - adding 3/4 of a cup into the batter, and add the rest on top of loaf to bake.

Recipe Ingredients for Mom's Banana Bread

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup bananas
1 tsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Mom's Banana Bread

  1. Sift dry ingredients.

  2. Add butter, eggs, bananas, and lemon juice.

  3. Stir 300 times.

  4. Put in preheated oven with a set temp of 350 for 50 mins to an hour 20 mins.
