Dough only Smore (1/2 tbs milk chocolate chips, 1/2 tbs butterscotch chips, 1/2 marshmallow) adds 100 calories Cinnamon adds approx 50 calories Fruit jam adds approx. 50 calories

Recipe Ingredients for Mom-Tarts

1 1/2 c corn starch
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 c skim milk
2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Mom-Tarts

  1. Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, softened margarine, vanilla, milk.

  2. In separate bowl, mix flour, corn starch, and baking powder.

  3. Combine sugar mixture with the flour mixture.

  4. Spread dough in thin layer.

  5. Top with filling (from separate recipe).

  6. Cover with another thin layer of dough.

  7. Cut out mom-tart shapes and smooth edges of top and bottom layer together.

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes.
