Yummy cream cheese cookie dough that can be used for several cookie recipes as the base.

Recipe Ingredients for Molding Dough for Cookies (Christmas Cookies)

3 ounces cream cheese (completely softened)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Xylitol (brown sugar firmly packed)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/3 cup oat flour
2/3 cup almond meal

Recipe Directions for Molding Dough for Cookies (Christmas Cookies)

  1. Combine all ingredients except flour in large bowl. Stir by hand until well blended.

  2. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.

  3. Add to cream cheese mixture, stirring by hand until dough forms a ball.

  4. Knead in bowl or on floured surface, 1 to 2 minutes, adding additional flour until smooth, pliable and not sticky.

  5. Shape on ungreased cookie sheets.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees until edges are light brown, thin shapes 10 to 15 minutes; thick shapes 15 to 22 minutes.

  7. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets. Store cooled cookies and unfilled tarts loosely covered. Refrigerate leftover dough up to 2 weeks; return to reoom temperature before using again.

  8. **Self Rising flour not recommended.
