12 serving Moist Deluxe Red Velvet Cake Mix
0.375 fl. oz Vegetable Oil (Bloom)
3 serving Eggs White Grade A Large

Recipe Directions for Moist Deluxe Red Velvet Cake - Duncan Hines Prepared

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees for metal or glass pans, 325 degrees for dark or coated pans.

  2. Grease sides and bottom of each pan with shortening.

  3. Flour lightly (Use baking cups for cupcakes)

  4. Blend dry mix, 1 1/4 cups water, 1/3 cup oil and 3 eggs in large bowl at low speed until moistened (about 30 seconds)

  5. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

  6. Pour batter in pans and bake immediately.

  7. Bake following chart on box.

  8. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean..

  9. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes.

  10. Cool completely before frosting.
