Recipe Ingredients for moist chocolate cake

200 g dark chocolate
250 g butter
100 g caster sugar
5 eggs
100 ml vodka
150 g plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
220 g sugar

Recipe Directions for moist chocolate cake

  1. melt chocolate butter and sugar together

  2. whip eggs in a large bowl until fluffy. Slowly pour in the melted chocolate mixture

  3. Whisk in the brandy, then sift in the flour

  4. pour the mixture into the tin (10.5") and bake for 45 minutes

  5. make a syrup by boiling the sugar with 300ml of water for about 5 minutes and when the cake is done pour over
