Mohlabetsi's morning granola recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Mohlabetsi Muesli recipe

8 cup oats
2 cups coconut
2 cups wheat germ
1/4 cup flaxseed
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup sesame seeds
3/4 cup honey
3/4 cup golden syrup
1 1/2 cups sunflower oil
2 tablespoons skim milk
1 cup raisins
1 cup sliced almonds

Recipe Directions for Mohlabetsi Muesli recipe

  1. mix the dry ingredients together

  2. mix the wet ingredients together

  3. heat the wet ingredients slightly in a saucepan and blend with a mixer. Add to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly

  4. Place in large oven trays and lightly roast at 150 C until crisp and golden brown. Turn every 10 minutes for 50-60 min.

  5. When cooked and cooled, add raisins and either peanuts (raw) or sliced almonds
