Recipe Ingredients for Modified German Chocolate Cheesecake

18 ounces German Chocolate Cake mix
16 ounces low fat cream cheese
1 1/4 cup splenda sugar substitute
1 cup egg substitute
1 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Modified German Chocolate Cheesecake

  1. Prepare cake batter according to package directions; set batter aside. In a small bowl, beat neufchatel, splenda and baking soda until smooth. Add egg substitute; beat on low speed just until combined.

  2. Pour half of cake butter into a greased 13 inch-9 inch baking dish. Gently pour cream cheese mixture over batter. Gently spoon remaining batter over top; spread to edge of pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 70 to 75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for an hour
