Recipe Ingredients for modified chocolate cherry cake frosting

1/3 cup soymilk
2/3 cup sugar
3 3/4 tablespoons of butter
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for modified chocolate cherry cake frosting

  1. Combine chocolate cake mix, pie filling and 4 egg whites in bowl. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done to touch.

  2. In saucepan, combine milk, sugar, butter. Heat to boiling and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add chocolate chips and stir well. Let sit for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour warm frosting over cake _ will be somewhat runny. This cake keeps better in the refrigerator.
