Modified berry cobbler with honey, splenda and oil instead of sugar and butter

Recipe Ingredients for Modified Berry Cobbler (with honey)

600 g mixed berries
3 tbsp. splenda
3 tbsp. whole wheat flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup skim milk
5 grams peanut oil

Recipe Directions for Modified Berry Cobbler (with honey)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).

  2. Combine berries (any type or combination will do), 3 tbsp. flour and 3 tbsp. splenda in the dish you plan to bake the cobbler in. Smallish, round glass one works well.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine cup of flour, 1/2 cup of honey and baking powder. Add a pinch of salt if desired.

  4. Add milk and oil to the flour mixture and mix well.

  5. Spread batter over top of fruit.

  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
