Substitute 1 lb of mushrooms for 1 lb on stew meat

Recipe Ingredients for Mlpc Beef Stew

1 cup, chopped Carrots
1 cup, diced Celery
2 potato large (3" to 4-1/4" dia) Potatoes, Red, Flesh And Skin
1 cup, chopped Onions
2 clove Garlic
1 grams Bay Leaves
4.5 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
3 tsp Thyme, Fresh
16 oz Beef, Top Sirloin
16 oz Mushrooms
14.5 oz Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
4 cup Beef Broth

Recipe Directions for Mlpc Beef Stew

  1. Cut beef and potatoes into appropriately sized chunks

  2. Layer ingredients in crock pot: carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, garlic, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, beef, tomatoes with juice, and 2 cups of broth

  3. Cover and cook on low fro 8-9 hours

  4. Mix up dumplings (1.33 cup Bisquick with 1/3 cup skim milk)

  5. Transfer stew to a large stove top pan

  6. Spoon dumplings on top of stew

  7. Cover and cook until dumplings are done, about 20 minutes
