Makes 6 servings



In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, herbs, and spices. Drizzle oil over vegetables in a large bowl; toss to coat. Add seasoning mixture; toss to coat. Grill the vegetables over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until the vegetables are fork-tender, turning frequently.

Recipe Ingredients for Mixed vegetable grill: asparagus, sweet peppers, zucchini, squash, and sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoons basil leaves
1 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 asparagus spears, trimmed
1 medium sweet red pepper, cut lengthwise into 6 strips
1 medium zucchini, cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch slices
1 medium yellow squash, cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch slices
1 small sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch rounds

  1. Do the sweet potatoes first, by themselves.

  2. Do zucchini and squash next, together.

  3. Then do the peppers and asparagus together, and add the potatoes and zucchini/squash in when they are all done.
