Recipe Ingredients for Mixed Pupusas

2 cups corn flour
1 cup refried beans
1 cup pork shoulder
1 slice white bread
2 small potatos
1 small tomato
1 small onion
1 cup mozzarella cheese
3 cups of water

Recipe Directions for Mixed Pupusas

  1. Cut up pork and bring to a boil until the water is absorbed and all that's left is the fat from the pork. Fry the pork in it's own fat until lightly browned.

  2. Grind pork, bread, potato, tomato, & onion, until mixed into a dough like form.

  3. Mix mozzarella cheese, refried beans and into the pork mix. Set aside.

  4. Heat griddle on med-high heat.

  5. Mix water with flour until you form a soft texture dough with no bits hanging on the side. (do not leave mushy, or add tsps of flour.

  6. Make a small ball of dough and flatten the dough.

  7. Once flatten add about 2 tbsp of mixture, ball it up to close the tortilla form and flatten back out again.

  8. Place on griddle on cook on both sides for about 5-7 mins on each side.
