Recipe Ingredients for Mixed Herb Tabbouleh

3/4 cup bulgur
3/4 cup water (hot)
1 cup fresh parsley
1/4 cup chives
1 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
4 green onions, finely chpped
3 medium tomatoes
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Mixed Herb Tabbouleh

  1. note: recipe calls for 2 bunches parsley, 1 bunch chives, I guessed at the actual quantity I used

  2. Combine bulgur and hot water in a medium bowl, let stand for 15 minutes or until all the water has been removed

  3. remove large stalks from the parsley and the disregard

  4. wash and dry all herbs thoroughly

  5. chop well or process in food processor (take care not to over process)

  6. place all ingredients in a bowl and toss to combine

  7. refrigerate until required
