Yummy berry pie without all the sugar!

Recipe Ingredients for Mixed berry pie with splenda (Joy of Cooking p 677)

5 cup Mixed Berries
2 crust Pillsbury Pie Crusts All Ready Rolled
170 grams SPLENDA No Calorie
9 tsp Tapioca
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Recipe Directions for Mixed berry pie with splenda (Joy of Cooking p 677)

  1. Preheat oven to 450. Unroll pie crust, place one in bottom of 9 inch pie pan - set other aside.

  2. In large bowl mix frozen berries with splenda, tapioca and unsalted butter. Put filling in pie crust, cover with second pie crust. Flute edges of pie, prick or vent pie crust and place in oven on rack in lower third of the oven.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes, turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. If edges of crust brown too quickly, cover with foil.
