Recipe Ingredients for Mixed Bean Soup

20 ounces mixed beans, dry
12 ounces ham
1 large onion
3 stalks celery
1 cup carrots, diced
30 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbs. parsley
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme

Recipe Directions for Mixed Bean Soup

  1. Soak beans overnight.

  2. Put beans in crockpot with ham. Cover with water and cook until about 2 hours before serving.

  3. Stir in herbs and vegetables.

  4. Serve with a big green salad and maybe some cornbread.
