1 cup lima beans
1 cup green beans
1 1/2 cups button mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons cornstarch
14 1/2 ounce stewed tomatoes
1 cup garbanzo beans

Recipe Directions for Mixed bean and Mushroom ragout-BB30mindin pg 193

  1. Cook lima beans and green beans in lightly salted water according to lima bean package directions; drain.

  2. In a large skillet cook mushrooms in hot oil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine water 1 tbs cold water, and cornstarch; stir into mushrooms. Stir in undtrained tomatoes and garbanzo beans. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more

  3. Stir in lima and green beans;

  4. heat through.
