This chili is a nice change of pace, with it's multiple beans and lentils adding a different and texture.

Recipe Ingredients for Mixed Bean and Lentil Chili (serving=1 cup)

8 oz Beans Mixed
8 oz Lentils, Mature Seeds
16 oz Ground Turkey, 85% Lean
30 oz Diced Tomatoes
11 oz Tomato Paste
26 oz Tomato Sauce
8 oz Corn, Sweet, Yellow
8 oz Carrots, Baby
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 medium Red Bell Pepper
2 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 cup soup, beef broth, cubed

Recipe Directions for Mixed Bean and Lentil Chili (serving=1 cup)

  1. Soak the mixed beans in water overnight.

  2. Cook the ground turkey.

  3. Rinse beans and put in a 6-8 quart slow cooker.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and cook on high for 8 to 10 hours.
