No-bake cookies. Also called Haystacks. Can add nuts.

Recipe Ingredients for Missouri Cookies

2 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1 cup Coconut Meat, Dried (Desiccated), Sweetened, Flaked, Packaged
2 cup Sugars, Granulated
4 fl oz Original Almond Breeze Unsweetened
3 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1/4 cup Butter
4 oz Sesame Butter, Tahini, From Roasted And Toasted Kernels (Most Common Type)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Missouri Cookies

  1. Over medium heat in medium saucepan, boil for 5 minutes:

  2. 2 cups sugar

  3. 1/4 lb butter or margarine

  4. 1/2 cup almond milk

  5. 3 T cocoa powder

  6. Remove from heat. Stir in :

  7. 1/4 c ttahini

  8. 1/4 c peanut butter

  9. 1 t vanilla

  10. 2 cups oats

  11. 1 cup coconut.

  12. Drop by spoonsfuls onto waxed paper or parchment paper. Will harden as they cool. *To reduce calories, use 3 cups of oats instead of coconut. For vegan cookies, use a soy margarine.
