Recipe Ingredients for Miso soup

1 tsp sesame seed oil
2/3 cup scallions, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger, paste
2 cups water
1/8 cup soy sauce
4 tbsp miso
3 ounces tofu, diced

Recipe Directions for Miso soup

  1. Heat a pot, add oil, add scallions, garlic, and ginger, saute until fragrant. Add everyting else except the miso and tofu. Heat until it starts to low boil.

  2. In a small dish, add miso, and take a ladle of hot soup and pour it into the dish. Whisk until smooth, the pour the miso mixture into the pot. Add tofu. Heat until ready to serve. (when tofu is hot).
