You can add whatever you like to miso soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Miso soup - home made

8 cups water
4 cups of napa cabbage
2 cups of tofu
1/2 onion
4 egg whites
1 chicken breast
1/2 cup miso paste

Recipe Directions for Miso soup - home made

  1. boil water

  2. cut napa cabbage in thick slices

  3. cut tofu into smaller cubes

  4. slice onions - thin slices

  5. cut chicken into smaller chunks

  6. all all of the above into the boiling pot of water

  7. once the water starts to boil again, add the miso paste (add as much to your taste)

  8. Crack the egg whites into the soup.

  9. Let it simmer until chicken is cooked, and/or the veggies are softened.
