Recipe Ingredients for MINUTE Peach Pie Filling

4 cups fresh or frozen peaches (92337)
1/4 cup MINUTE tapioca (96721)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp margarine

Recipe Directions for MINUTE Peach Pie Filling

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix fruit, tapioca, sugar and lemon juice in a bowl; let stand 15 minutes.

  2. Fill pastry-lined pie plate with fruit mixture. Dot with margarine. Cover pie with a top crust; seal and flute edges. Cut several slit to permit steam escape. Bake for 1 hour or until juices form bubbles that burst slowly. Cool.

  3. Variation: For a golden top crust, brush with beaten egg before baking.
