Refreshing for a hot day, you need fresh mint.

Recipe Ingredients for Mint Iced Tea

1 liter water
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tea bags

Recipe Directions for Mint Iced Tea

  1. Take 2/3 of the water and pre-chill it the night before.

  2. Use handful of fresh mint (cleaned and bruised) and put into a pot with the 6 tea bags and 1/3 of the water. cook over medium heat, do not boil or simmer, let it steep for 10-15 minutes.

  3. While that is steeping pour sugar and the lemon juice into a Liter pitcher.

  4. Remove the mint and tea bags making sure to squeeze liquid from them. Pour into the pitcher, stir, and and the rest of the water.

  5. Pour over ice with a sprig of mint or a slice of lemon!
