Use Reames Hoemstyle Frozen Egg Noodles for home made touch. Can use 99% fat free chicken broth or substitute chicken broth with a can fat free condensed chicken soup.

Recipe Ingredients for Mindy's Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup

12 cups water
24 ounces chicken breasts
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/2 tsp salt
3 chicken bouillon cubes
29 ounces chicken broth (2 cans chicken broth)
16 ounces egg noodles

Recipe Directions for Mindy's Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Cook chicken breasts with carrots, celery, seasoning, and cubes for 20 to 30 minutes in 5 qt pos filled 1/2 full of water

  2. Remove chicken and shred or cut up. Add noodles and cook for 25 minutes. Adding more water to fill pot 1/2 way.

  3. After noodles have cooked, add chicken and 2 cans of chicken broth. Stir and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.
