A rich sauce with mince, onion and carrots. Great with boiled or mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Can also be baked in the oven as Cottage Pie

Recipe Ingredients for Mince and Tatties

2 onions, diced
2 carrots, diced
500 g beef, minced, extra lean
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 pint beef stock
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1 salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Mince and Tatties

Fry carrots, onions and mince in olive oil until browned and soft. Add flour and cinnamon and stir then add tomato puree and stir again. Next add stock and allow to thicken. Simmer for 30 mins or until carrots and soft. Add Worcestshire sauce and vinegar and salt and pepper to taste
