Recipe Ingredients for Mince Stew

8 oz extra lean ground beef
1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 cup diced carrot
1/2 cup diced turnip
2 cups chopped potatoes
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups water
1 tablespoon lentils

Recipe Directions for Mince Stew

  1. Brown the meat

  2. Brown onions

  3. add water and all vegetables

  4. add seasoning

  5. add lentils

  6. simmer gently for 2 hours or until potatoes are tender.
