Milk chocolate covered cornflake cakes. The calorific value is for the complete mix, divide by the amount of individual cakes made. Usually between 10 and 20 can be made from this amount depending on their size. 10 large cakes = 304 calories each, 20 small cakes = 152 calories each

Recipe Ingredients for Milk chocolate cornflake cakes

400 grams Corn flakes
400 grams Milk Chocolate
1 tsp Agave Syrup

Recipe Directions for Milk chocolate cornflake cakes

  1. Ingredients:

  2. 2 x 200g Milk chocolate bars

  3. 200g (approx) Corn flakes

  4. Syrup of some kind

  5. Utensiles:

  6. Tablespoon,

  7. Large sauce pan

  8. Large mixing bowl (glass or metal)

  9. Soft silicone spatula

  10. - Boil a large saucepan of water

  11. - Reduce heat

  12. - Place a large mixing bowl on top

  13. - Break up the choclate bars into small chunks and place into the bowl

  14. - With a soft spatula mix the melted chocolate from time to time

  15. - Add a tablespoon of syrup and continue to mix until the chocolate blocks have all become a creamy texture

  16. - Start adding the cornflakes little by little

  17. - keep mixing and adding more until you can hardly see any of the golden colour of the cornflakes

  18. - With a table spoon, spoon out into grease proofed cookie cups or into flatter cakes on grease proof paper

  19. - Allow several hours to cool

  20. I like to keep them in the fridge.

  21. Flatter cakes are more comfortable to eat, thicker cakes can be a bit painful on the gums
