Baked tilapia with roasted red peppers, onions, and garlic. Low in sodium and high protein.

Recipe Ingredients for Mike's Baked Tilapia

339 g tilapia filets
97 g red bell pepper
100 g yellow onion
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp lime juice

Recipe Directions for Mike's Baked Tilapia

  1. while fish is thawing or approximately 1 hour before cooking:chop peppers

  2. chop onions

  3. place peppers and onion in a bowl with a tight fitting lid

  4. add minced garlic

  5. add lemon juice

  6. add lime juice

  7. add olive oil

  8. place lid on container and while holding lid tightly gently shake container until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed

  9. place container in refrigerator until bready to cook fish.

  10. preheat oven to 350

  11. line fish in a single layer in a glass casserole dish

  12. spread premade toppings evenly over fish.

  13. bake for approximately 20-30 minutes or until fish begins flake.
