Recipe Ingredients for Middle Eastern brown rice and garbanzo beans

1 tablespoon canola oil
1 large yellow onion
1 cup red peppers
1 tablespoon minced garlic
28 ounces diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
30 ounces garbanzo beans
1 cup dry brown rice
2 cups water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons dry parsley

Recipe Directions for Middle Eastern brown rice and garbanzo beans

cook onions and then peppers in oil and add the rest to the rice cooker except the lemon juice and parsley which will be put in at the end and press brown rice setting
