Middle eastern basmati rice with ground turkey, garbanzos, black beans and veggies

Recipe Ingredients for Middle Easter Rice w/added veggies

1 celery stalk
1/4 white onion
1 cup baby spinach
2 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves
1 carrot
3/4 cup basmati rice
1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
15 oz black beans
15 oz garbanzo beans
5 servings turkey lean
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Middle Easter Rice w/added veggies

  1. sautee all veggies for 5 minutes, add rice and spices and sautee 5 more minutes.

  2. add chicken broth, bring to boil, lower heat and cover for 20 minutes

  3. meanwhile, sautee ground turkey, when cooked add to rice along with rinsed garbanzos and black beans.
