Adapted from the recipe on the Hersheys box. Don't leave out the salt, it won't taste good.

Recipe Ingredients for microwave hot cocoa, single serving, from scratch

2 tbs water
1 tbs unsweetened baking cocoa
1 teaspoon sugar
1 dash of salt
1 cup skim milk

Recipe Directions for microwave hot cocoa, single serving, from scratch

  1. Heat the water for 30 sec in the microwave or until boiling.

  2. Add cocoa, sugar and salt, stir well.

  3. Add milk, stir.

  4. Heat to just below boiling, 1 minute in my microwave.

  5. Stir and enjoy.
