Recipe Ingredients for Microwave Health Bread

250 ml wheat bran
500 ml wheat flour, whole-grain
250 ml wheat, crushed
125 ml sunflower seeds
50 ml raisins, seedless
5 ml baking powder
5 ml salt
500 ml buttermilk
5 ml bicarbonate of soda
25 ml soft brown sugar
25 ml olive oil

Recipe Directions for Microwave Health Bread

  1. Grease a 25x10x7.5cm or 1.5 litre microwave dish with butter

  2. Layout with a baking sheet

  3. Cover the dish with a little bit of wheat bran

  4. Mix together the wheat bran, whole grain flour, crushed wheat, sunflower seads, raisins, baking powder and salt

  5. In a separate dish mix together the buttermilk and bicarb

  6. Pour the oil and sugar together and mix with buttermilk mix

  7. Mix the buttermilk mix with dry ingredients

  8. Pour mixture in the prepared bowl and throw some crushed wheat on top of mixture

  9. Place the dish onto a small plate in the microwave and bake for 17 min at 70% (850w) microwave.
