Easy microwave recipe for caramel corn. Lightly covered - more like toffee than a thick caramel coating.

Recipe Ingredients for Microwave Caramel Corn

20 cups popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup white corn syrup

Recipe Directions for Microwave Caramel Corn

  1. Microwave popcorn and sort out unpopped kernels.

  2. Place popped popcorn in paper bag (grocery size)

  3. Microwave ingredients (except popcorn) on high for about two minutes. Stir well. Add caramel mixture to popcorn. Shake to coat. Microwave in paper bag for 1 minute. Shake well. Microwave for 1 minute. Shake well. Microwave for 1 minute. Shake well. Pour onto waxed paper and let cool.
