Oatmeal, peanut butter & chocolate cookies.

Recipe Ingredients for Michigan Cookies

2 cup Sugars, Granulated
3 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
8 tbsp Salted Butter
0.5 cup Fat Free Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 cup dry Quick Quaker Oats
4 oz Creamy

Recipe Directions for Michigan Cookies

  1. In a sauce pan bring sugar, cocoa, milk and butter to a rolling boil for NO LONGER than 1 1/2 minute. Quickly add vanilla, peanut butter and oats. Mix quickly together.

  2. Spoon onto a non-stick surface.

  3. TIPS: I use wax paper for my non-stick surface. For large cookies I use a 1/4 c. measuring cup. For smaller cookies I use a 1/8 c/ measuring cup.
