Recipe Ingredients for Michelle's Black Beans

3 cups black beans
1/4 red onion
2 cups fresh green peppers
1 1/2 cups long grain brown rice
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for Michelle's Black Beans

  1. Rinse and drain black beans

  2. heat in pan with 1/2 olive oil and 1/2 garlic

  3. heat peppers with 1/2 olive oil, 1/2 garlic, basil, and onion

  4. cook rice

  5. season to taste
