This is my basic meatloaf recipe.... my kids and hubby love it! Add your own seasonings, to taste. I try not to add a lot of extra 'salts' - use powders instead (for example, garlic powder instead of garlic salt.)

Recipe Ingredients for Michelle's Awesome Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium yellow onion
1/2 cup bread crumbs, plain
1 egg
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup ketchup

Recipe Directions for Michelle's Awesome Meatloaf

  1. 1. Mix all ingredients except ketchup in large bowl.

  2. 2. Put in loaf pan, preferably glass. Top with ketchup.

  3. 3. Bake for an hour at 350 degrees.

  4. 4. Remove from oven and let cool.

  5. 5. Cut into 10 thin slices. Serve.

  6. (If you cut into 5 slices, then double the amount of the nutritional info. For example, each slice will be about 300 calories instead of 149 calories).
