1 cup brown rice
1/2 cup half and half
1 can chicken broth
1 cup onion
1 cup celery
14 1/2 oz. corn
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for Michele's corn & rice chowder

  1. saute onions & celery in butter

  2. add flour

  3. add can of broth and refill can with water. Bring to boil

  4. add corn, cooked rice and spices. Cook 15 minutes

  5. add half and half and heat and serve
