Recipe Ingredients for Mexican Tinga

1 tbs olive oil
1 onion, sliced
15 oz can tomatoes
4 oz chipotle peppers
2 lbs. cooked chicken, shredded

Recipe Directions for Mexican Tinga

  1. Brown onions in olive oil.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until sauce is thickened.

  3. Add a stick of cinnamon while simmering for extra flavor.

  4. Serve with sour cream and tortillas, if desired.
