Recipe Ingredients for Mexican Style Rice (Spicy)

1 serving Long Grain Enriched Rice
1 serving Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
1 serving Granulated Garlic Powder

Recipe Directions for Mexican Style Rice (Spicy)

  1. 12 oz. rice

  2. 20 oz. water

  3. 5 oz. Diced tomatoes & green chilies

  4. 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

  5. salt to taste

  6. On a small pan toast the rice for about 6 minutes stirring constantly.

  7. add the garlic powder and toast for one more minute.

  8. Add the diced toamtoes & green chiles and stir to mix all the ingredients. Add the water and bring to boil.

  9. Cover the pan and let it simmer on low heat for about 25 minutes.
