Steak over noodles. Beans are eliminated because of special diet. Normally kidney beans would be added to this mix.

Recipe Ingredients for Mexican Steak and Beans

8 ozs top round steak
1/4 c. olive oil
2 tbs. flour
1 tsp. chilli powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. sauce
3 carrots, sliced
1 sweet green pepper, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced
4 ozs. dry noodles
1 c. water

Recipe Directions for Mexican Steak and Beans

  1. Cut beef into cubes.

  2. Mix together flour, chilli powder, cumin, and black pepper. Coat beef cubes in mixture.

  3. Put olive oil and beef cubes in large fry pan and cook until brown.

  4. Add water, carrots, chilli sauce, peppers and cook until veges are done.

  5. Serve over cooked noodles.
