Excellent and easy to make mexican rice

Recipe Ingredients for Mexican Rice

2 tbs cooking oil
1 cup onion
1 clove garlic
2 cups uncooked white rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup salsa

Recipe Directions for Mexican Rice

  1. Heat cooking oil over medium heat

  2. Add onion and garlic. Reduce heat to low

  3. Cook until onions are translucent (about 2 min)

  4. Add uncooked rice and cook over medium heat until rice begins to brown

  5. Add chicken broth and salsa

  6. Bring to boil

  7. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes
