1 cup Arborio Rice
0.25 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
3.5 oz Swiss, 70% Cocoa
2 cup Soymilk Unsweetened
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.33 cup Syrups, Maple
18 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
16 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
4 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted
0.1 tsp Cayenne

Recipe Directions for Mexican rice pudding with honey-cayenne whipped cream

  1. bring rice & 1.5c soymilk to boil then reduce to simmer & cook covered 10min.

  2. add cocoa powder, chocolate, cinnamon & maple syrup & cook 10m stirring constantly.

  3. taste & add brown sugar & more cinnamon to taste.

  4. let come to room temp.

  5. prepare whipping cream:

  6. mix whipping cream, honey, and cayenne & whip to soft peaks.
