Sauce for enchiladas, eggs or omelets

Recipe Ingredients for Mexican red sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch cumin
1 pinch oregano
2 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Mexican red sauce

heat oil in skillet, add flour and cook until light brown. Add chili powder and stir for 1 minute. Add garlic salt cumin oregano and stir. Add water and stir until thickened (+/- 5 minutes)
