I used 6 whole grain(although the recipe does not show that) pita breads. Then, from a 16oz can of refried beans, I spread an equal amount on each pita. Then, I took a fresh lettuce brunch and shredded 1.5 cups of it. I spread that evenly over the refried beans. Then i used3/4cups of mozzarella part skim milk cheese to shred over the top. That as a good source of calcium and is low in sugars. After topping the lettuce with cheese, I topped the cheese with 6tbs of fat free sour cream. With this, you just have to be careful because it is high in sugars. Afterwards, top everything off with some zesty salsa; very high in sugar, BUT no cholesterol, high in vitamins, and very high in dietary fiber. Overall, this recipe is rather healthy. However, it is high in sugars.
