Mexican Lasagna Recipe

A spicy switch from the traditional lasagna.

Recipe Ingredients for Mexican lasagna

32 ounces ground beef, lean
15 ounces fat free refried beans
8 ounces cheese, mexican
8 ounces sour cream
6 ounces lasagna
8 ounces green chilies
32 ounces salsa

Recipe Directions for Mexican lasagna

  1. Brown ground beef. Mix with refried beans and green chilies.

  2. Place dry lasagna noodles in the pan, top with layer of ground beef/bean mixture. Place another layer of noodles followed by another layer of ground beef/beans. Add another layer of noodles.

  3. Pour 2 1/2 cups of salsa with 2 1/2 cups of water over top of lasagna.

  4. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

  5. Remove from oven. Cover with sour cream and cheese.

  6. Heat an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
