Recipe Ingredients for Mexican Cabbage

1 cup marinara sauce
1 canned tomatoes
6 turkey sausage links
1 t. olive oil
5 cups cabbage
1 onion, to taste

Recipe Directions for Mexican Cabbage

  1. Saute onions in 1 teaspoon olive oil.

  2. Add precooked sausage and heat through.

  3. Add 1 can tomatoes and 1 cup marinara sauce.

  4. In the meantime, boil salted water and add shredded cabbage. Cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Drain cabbage and squeeze out as much moisture as you can.

  6. Fold cabbage into sausage mixture and pour into baking dish.

  7. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
