1/2 cup Pickled Jalapeno , minced
4 slices Reduced Fat Deli Style Pepper Jack
1/2 cup ketchup
4 Whole Wheat Hamburger Bun

Recipe Directions for Mexican Burgers

  1. Preheat a grill pan over medium heat.

  2. In a bowl combine ground beef, onion, chili powder, salt, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, pepper flakes, oregano, dried breadcrumbs and minced jalapenos. Combine with hands just until mixed - do NOT over mix. Divide into 4 even portions and form into patties.

  3. Coat the grill pan with cooking spray and cook burgers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until done to your liking. While burgers cook toast buns in a toaster oven. After flipping burgers top each patty with a slice of cheese and cover to melt.
