Recipe Ingredients for Mexican Bean Burgers

1 carrot
1 1/2 cups kidney beans
1/2 cup green pepper
1/2 cup onion
2 cups salsa
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup bulgur

Recipe Directions for Mexican Bean Burgers

  1. Cook bulgur - you can add taco seasoning or Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle to bulgur when cooking to give some flavor.

  2. Cut and cook carrot in microwave until soft.

  3. Mix everything together. Partially crush the beans as you mix.

  4. Shape into 6 pattie and place on foil-covered baking sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.

  5. Back at 450 for about 10-15 minutes or until heated.
