Italian pesto mixed with veggies, shrimp and pasta.

Recipe Ingredients for The Mess

1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 T Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, chopped finely
1/2 pound whole wheat spaghetti
1/2 pound cooked shrimp
1 pound fresh green beans

Recipe Directions for The Mess

Make pesto by muddling in a 1-cup measuring cup the basil and salt. Add grated cheese, olive oil and garlic. Let sit while boiling pasta. Add green beans and shrimp at the last minute, drain and mix with pesto sauce.
