Delicious meringues, and generally low cal! You can add color, or chocolate mint, or peanut butter chips or any flavoring you want to spice them up, but they taste great the way they are!

Recipe Ingredients for Meringues

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg white

Recipe Directions for Meringues

  1. Preheat oven to 225F.

  2. Place separated egg white, salt and cream of tartar in a medium mixing bowl.

  3. Beat egg white mixture until it forms soft peaks.

  4. Add in the granulated sugar to the mixture until it forms hard peaks.

  5. Bake in oven for 1 hour and a half.

  6. Voila!
