Recipe Ingredients for MERINGUE, DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MOCHA

3 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
1 c sugar
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 tbsp instant espresso powder
3 tbsp chocolate chips, mini

Recipe Directions for MERINGUE, DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MOCHA

  1. Preheat oven to 300 and line cookie sheet w/ parchment.

  2. Beat egg whites, cr of tartar, and slt on highs peed untill soft peaks form. Add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating until stiff peaks form. Sift cocoa and espresso over whites, and fold in. Fold in minichips.

  3. Drop by tablespoons onto prepared pan, or drop by pastry bag into 1 in circles.

  4. Bake 40 min or utnil crisp.

  5. Repeat until done, reusing parchment.
